“Equity” is just a word

Angele Toomey Avatar
Words,
If you say them over and over again the start to sound ridiculous
Divorced from their meaning
No longer of use.

Old people are like words,
Called on over and over again
And cast aside like an ex:
No longer of use, without value.

Working class women are like words too.
The dirty work they do over
And over again is so invisible
it has no value.
Until they are no longer of use.
